Stress Release

Acquire Serenity and  Work Productively

As a leader, you want to give your best in all circumstances. Stress can block you or delay the results you desire; it can reduce your creativity and productivity; most importantly, it can impact your health. Learn to let go of stress at its roots, understand yourself more deeply and regain inner peace, health and productivity.

  • Understand the origins of stress.

  • Identify its roots.

  • Discover how to release it with appropriate techniques.

  • Gain more health and energy.

Health studies conducted in the United States show that 70 per cent of illnesses are stress-related. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has qualified stress as a ‘hazard’ in the workplace. A study conducted by the American Institute of Stress reported that 80 per cent of workers say they feel stressed and 40 per cent say they need help managing stress. The cost of stress for American companies as a whole is estimated at $300 billion per year.

Research and experience show that a little stress in our lives promotes activity, motivation and results. It is called ‘eustress’ or ‘good stress’. Eustress is the small ‘tension given by the intention’ to achieve a certain goal or quality standard. It derives from and promotes purposeful thoughts and active emotions. People in a state of eustress tend to be more productive and consequently more satisfied.

If we pass a certain point, however, stress becomes ‘distress’ or ‘bad stress’. Distress is due to excessive strain; it causes overstrain, demotivation, poor results. It derives from and promotes negative thoughts and destructive emotions, which have a negative impact on health. People with distress become less and less productive and less and less creative as time goes by; and, if the condition becomes permanent, they may even become seriously ill.

Large companies such as Apple and Google have discovered the benefit of taking care of their employees’ health and productivity by reducing stress levels with practices such as meditation, music, proper nutrition, yoga classes, and effective communication. They have discovered a ‘win-win-win’ solution to stress, where employees win, by becoming healthier, the company wins, as employees are more productive, and society as a whole wins, by having healthier and happier individuals and less healthcare costs.

To have a lasting effect, it is necessary to understand the phenomenon of stress and eliminate it at its root. The root of stress is in the mind. If we take an external ‘stressful event’ (e.g. in personal life, the end of a relationship, the discovery of an illness, a car accident; in business, a difficult relationship with colleagues, loss of market share to competitors, an economic recession), and we take 100 people involved, we may have 100 different reactions, from very calm and rational to very stressed. So, stress has an inner cause, not an outer cause: the inner cause is in the mind.

We often hear and read statements like ‘You cannot remove stress from your life’. These statements are only true if you do not have the right knowledge and techniques to remove stress. Research and experience have shown that it is possible to remove stress from your life. And in fact, the ability to do so is one of the hallmarks of true leaders: the ability to be calm while everything and everyone is in the storm is a valuable quality that true leaders share, both in their personal lives and in business.

It is possible to eliminate stress from life. In some cases it may take time; but in many cases it is a process that can be very quick to both understand and apply.

In order to eliminate the root of stress in a given situation, we must address the thoughts and beliefs that generate it, the emotions that promote it, and the underlying energy charge that gives it nourishment.

With the Stress Release Technique (TRS), an inner process that you follow step by step, you can release all the thoughts, beliefs, inner images, emotions and energy that create the stress condition and return to a state of inner peace, calm, creativity, productivity and health.

In the “Stress Release” training, leaders will learn how to manage stress from the outside world and from their inner “world”. They will learn how to release stress from the root with the Stress Release Technique. The TRS will be taught in detail as a step-by-step process; it will be practised several times during the course, so that leaders will be able to apply it to different stress situations in life and work; furthermore, repeated application of the technique during the training will immediately result in the release of accumulated stress conditions in the past, thus already giving a feeling of relief, lightness, freedom, openness and improved health, creativity and productivity.

The ‘Stress Release’ training is a 3-day intensive course.
